seems to me it was salami sliced and given a complex structure which allowed them all to cream loads off the top whilst having what they hoped was plausible deniability and zero responsibility for any fuck ups. That was why once they realised the game was up they carried on with the prosecutions rather than admit what was going on.

It would have been fairly simple for A&L to outline a transaction threshold above which a charging ATM is required and I would imagine this was discussed with the PO and they knew that most of their branches would not have the relevant transaction numbers to allow installation of free ATM‘s……. the whole thing looks utterly corrupt and the testimony is dishonest

Surely if certain people have been proved to have sat back and let innocent people be fired and jailed when they knew they were innocent, it's a criminal offence?
