New security measure

I thought the

I thought the Robocop style police in Seville were extremely threatening and aggressive. This seems to be a theme in Spain with Bayern Munich fans having had major problems in Madrid which the club to their credit are trying to take further with UEFA or EU. Doubt Liverpool fans did anything we didn't when we were there.

The Police in Seville were Angles compared to the T!!!s in Madrid.
Same old Scousers, never their fault.

Don't blame the scousers for kicking off, the Seville police should never have told them to remove their halos.

My point was that we don't have problems with ticket less fans so why bother
Well unless they bothered for a laugh, I assume they had information or a fear of an Arsenal type situation and as it didn't happen either the measures worked or the fear was unfounded but it has nothing to do with how many tickets gad been sold.

I assume that is only in and around the stadium ? Surely we are not paying to escort tourists to our City round various venues (ie from the City centre to the stadium) ?

We were out after the game until 2am, and we didn't see any issues, just lots of the dutch fans having a good night out, like we do abroad, a couple looked worst for wear, much like we do. Some of their songs were shit, but hey ho, they seemed pretty respectful around town afterwards, as it should be.

Agreed, I went markets before the game and parked near the arena so walked past them all and they were all sound. No different to us when we go away in Europe.
