you can only hope yaya knows he is appreciated by city supporters , he has made comments in the past about not being appreciated in this country , sincerely hope that this is not directed at us , it it is the likes of Carragher the scouse c*nt , who did a character assassination on him after the goons game , at best the scouse tw*t was an average centre half , and yet millions watching this clueless f8cker take his comments as gospel . Yaya will go down in premeirship history as one of the best midfielders of his era , the scouse d*ckhead will be remembered for what dippers do best , mourning.

Our most influential player since the takeover.

But you'll never satisfy the critics because he "looks lazy" doesn't "put himself about" and said some dumb shit on twitter about a birthday cake.
Dumb shit at a time when he was dealing with the pressure of winning us the title, captaining his country to the World Cup finals and his brother dying. If the worst anyone does under that pressure is complain about a birthday cake then congratulations to them.

For me the abuse of Yaya and the lazy accusation is like saying Steve jobs or mark zuckerberg are/were bad businessmen/entrepreneurs because they don't/didn't dress smartly enough it is ignoring obvious facts because of an irrationally formed view

He gets called lazy because he lets people run past him on countless occasions in defensive situations, then 2 minutes later he's happily running forward to join the attack. We've all seen it, we all know it happens, it's just some prefer to pretend it doesn't happen for some reason.

You can't deny stats, nor can you deny the human eye. Especially the ones that see Yaya play once or twice a week for over 5 years now.
Maybe we should all settle on saying Yaya is such a good player that even when he has a "lazy" game his stas will favour him.

Silva does that.

Most annoyingly there's many City fans think he should be able to run about like Sterling, and that's an issue.

We don't think that. What we say is he shouldn't be played in a position that demands that energy level. He's still a fine player. He's just not able to do what is needed as part of a midfield 2, which I think is what you were hinting at.

He is left high and dry upfield after a run and can't get back to fill the hole. While he slowly lopes back upfield he's playing no part in the game. And when he's faced by a quick player running at him they go past him like he's not there sometimes. This all leads to us getting overrun in midfield sometimes and disasters like the Liverpool and Stoke games.

This is down to the manager not Yaya. Yaya repeatedly shows what he has to offer offensively. If we have to play with a midfield two then it needs to be two players suited to that role. Fernandinho and Delph from the current lot. And no more of that nonsense of sticking Delph out on the left.

To my mind we are overly obsessed with signing attacking midfielders and wide players when what we need are a couple more Fernandinho's.
