ya ya has b
Aguero, Silva and De Bruyne don't work that hard, especially away from home.

I've heard Yaya get the same shit while playing further forward despite him putting in 10 times the defensive work Silva does when played there.

We don't defend well as a team and Yaya is the scapegoat for it. He's included in the problem, but he isn't the only one.

Usually the sort who blame Yaya are the sort that think Sterling can't finish. It's that media brainwashing.
ya ya has been 10 times the player of kun or silver and kompany this season so far , ok 10 times is a bit over the top,
I think he is fit enough always looks best at the end, he just isn't Fernandinho which some idiots in the press and some less discerning city fans don't seem to understand.
if ya ya was transfer listed today EVERY top team in england would be fighting over him ,chelsea would believe top 4 still possible ,spurs would believe champions is on the cards, van gall would be a god at utd if he managed to bag him ,and caraghers liverpool would have a open top bus parade with 20 000 scousers welcoming him , appreciate and enjoy what we have blues, billy meradith, peter doherty. frank swift ,bert trueman , colin bell,ya ya toure, they come along only once every 20 or 30 years,

Brilliant article on the big man right here

Manchester City: Yaya Toure is unfairly criticised - and the stats prove it

Perhaps what disparaging pundits and critical fans need to remember is that Toure is there to win matches with his world-class ability, not run around like a headless chicken to prove he cares.

City had that with Gelson Fernandes

Indeed. Brilliant yet again from the big man. How many times does he turn games around single handedly when nobody else seems willing to accept that responsibility? Awesome player capable of sheer brilliance and first on the team sheet for me. If you're going to drop anyone then drop Sterling.

Seems the armband has galvanised him somewhat. Carraghers comments have a lot to answer for after that Arsenal game, he well jel ha ha

it's not fitness, it's mobility and the surge of power from his legs that has faded which is causing his decline.

When he gets that little bit of extra time and space towards the end of games he shows what he's still capable of.

it probably hurts carragher that Yaya has more talent in his little toe than he had in his whole body, has won more trophies than Carra had hot dinners and can play better with his slippers on than Carra full pelt !

Spot on he keeps going at the same speed but his physical prowess shows more towards the end of games when opponents are less strong
