Premier League Games 11/12/13 Feb

Too much competition for two many players for what was esentially one position in the system they were playing at the time.

I spoke about this in the 'King of Assists' thread, but Sigurdsson is actually a high performing player for his role which likely has very high chances created stats (those stats are locked behind pay walls these days as they are key to sabremetrics permeating modern scouting and acquisition). Perhaps Swansea is finally playing with the guile necessary to make the best of him but if you were to put Sigurdsson on a team with good finishers his 'hard' stats (goals, assists, key passes) would be much higher. Check his WhoScored attacking ranking or his Creativity Index score in the official PL Fantasy League game (which uses a statistical model including chances created recorded by Opta)—he punches well above his weight.
That doesn't surprise me. Always looks busy with a good eye and range of passing. Wouldn't look to shoddy in our set up.
