Premier League Games 22/23 Dec

Ladies and gentleman, Rob Draper of Daily Fail.

In the ecstasy of the moment of a superb Harry Maguire goal and a stunning Leicester comeback, it is easy to forget just how far Manchester United have come.

Some context: after 19 games last season, the half-way point, they had 36 points and were sixth. After last night, at the same stage, they have 42 points and are second.

Sometimes they may not look like a Manchester United teams in terms of style, though often they do. And in terms of serious intent, they are getting back to what they were.

That's all they have to cling onto. "At least we're not as shit as last year".

To be fair if it wasnt for this ridiculous city juggernaut that may be he best team ever to grace the premier league..
They’re sort of doing alright. They’re probably on a par with most team who’ve won the league before in terms of points. But scratch beneath the surface and it’s a boring negative team scraping wins and riding their luck
