Majority were there to see Madrid. We just happened to be the ones playing them. Good for exposure, especially given the result and American fans tendency in general to jump ship and support the team of the moment or those who can entertain the most

Six years ago there was probably a couple hundred of us supporting the lads in Dublin, so our support in the States was huge in comparison.

I am no two foreign teams coming to England for a friendly would get an attendence any where near what had been quoated

Watched the match on YouTube, a couple of buffer issues as I was in a Premier Inn in Cumbria so not the fastest wifi.. the crowd sounded loud to me and I could also make out some
decent City chanting towards the end of the game. Well worth the 4am alarm!
