ROBINHO will be told the door is open for a fresh start at Manchester City.
Talks between his representatives and City officials were due to take place over the future of the British record transfer earlier this week - but have been put back until Wednesday.

And boss Roberto Mancini is ready to offer the £32.5million Brazilian strike star, 26, a clean slate after the World Cup - if he wants to come back.

The City boss is planning to beef up his midfield this summer with £25m Yaya Toure, David Silva and James Milner all on his hitlist.

Robinho had a dismal second season in England and was sent out on loan to Santos within six weeks of the Italian taking charge.

But he would be happy to return to City and give it another go.

He is just behind Sven on the pimp list. :)

Many journos just twist what anyone says so don't listen to it. It's all rubbish.

good news

That's not good news. It's great news!

Delighted! If he'd never played for us and people had been watching the World Cup, he'd be the number one player (along with Ozil) that people would be saying we should throw 40 million at!

Hope he comes back and people will not judge him on his 6 games when injured last season, and judge him for the rest of his career.

Wholeheartedly agree. Robinho has some unfinished business at our club. Lets see how he goes in a system and role that suits him, and with some better quality players around him. I have a strong feeling that some large helpings of humble pie will be being eaten by some members of this Forum......
