You'd have to be able to destroy their industrial capacity on the east side of the Urals.Think the logistics of attacking Moscow are pretty much insurmountable...industry and armed forces will just withdraw as per WW11. GDM has stated previously that east of Moscow is basically a wilderness.
Fuck 'em...let them have their scrubland but make western borders unbreachable.
Could be some of the stuff the farmers dragged off,and has been repaired?Ukraine "captured" lots of russian kit early on in the war, maybe these rebels are using some of that ?

2) Never go to war with the Italians on your side
3) Never march on Moscow
With regards to rule 3, probably best if they stick to causing mayhem around the border area.
