Even if they should succeed in their aims of taking the regions of Ukraine they want, by force , the Ukrainians will never totally surrender and there will be guerilla warfare going on for ever and a day.
If they threaten to use nukes their country will be blitzed.

I was very lucky to both survive and get out this in 1982. Some sailors will have survived the attack. It’s how good the follow up search and rescue was.
