Even if they should succeed in their aims of taking the regions of Ukraine they want, by force , the Ukrainians will never totally surrender and there will be guerilla warfare going on for ever and a day.
If they threaten to use nukes their country will be blitzed.
(It is possible that one of their missiles could malfunction in any attempted launch and blow that complex apart).
Putin orders a withdrawal and he is forced out of office, tried as a war criminal and sentenced to death.
So no solution to the problem Putin has created.

By who? The ICC has no power to hand-out such a sentence. Russia has a moratorium on capital punishment.

I was very lucky to both survive and get out this in 1982. Some sailors will have survived the attack. It’s how good the follow up search and rescue was.

Its simple really. Letting Ukraine join now is effectively declaring war on Russia. What you have currently is a proxy war where the like of the US and the UK are clearly sharing intelligence, supplying weapons platforms and the training to use them, Also backed with hefty logistic support.. We are already at war with Russia. Just like America was when they supplied all the weapons to the Afghan army to fight Russia.

Why would you go steaming in when currently, we are getting all the info needed to actually take them apart if needed. We thought they had a super army that was capable of taking on anyone. Now a small country with a small army is taking them apart daily. Major flag ships have gone, the Airforce cant fly further than the line of advance. Those are all Western weapons systems. The UK and US is currently engaged in this war with Russia - lets not call it a war. Call it - Call it Military Aid and you will see how similar it seems to the "Special Operation"
