Shouldn't City be paying staff real living wage?

Liverpool have become the third club to sign up to the RLW iniative, following on from Everton and Chelsea. Surely City, in our financial position, should follow suit? Would be great to see the club take a stance for the good of their employees.

It would also be good if a company that adopts the RLW also starts applying pressure to any of its suppliers (or gives preferential treatment) to also have the RLW.

Putting more money into the pockets of local people (even if it's a tiddly amount to others) benefits the local population. A 'trickle up' effect if you will.

Yes, of course. I should've probably titled it "Why aren't City paying staff real living wage?".

Yes obviously we should, though who knows if we aren't already. We might not be but I'm always a little suspicious when companies/organisations/clubs feel the need to declare their pay structure publicly
