Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi

I thought it was shite and about 30 minutes too long. The whole casino bit with benico del toro was pointless and there were way too many "funny" bits, that's werent funny.

Fuck off i was 7

' fuck off im 47, in what language?

You didn't invent a time machine and go to a year with internet and google what darth Vader meant to George Lucas just in case his name may have some relation to the plot?

Sounds like you just went to the pictures and thought darth Vader that's a cool name for a baddie.

Just recently i have come to the conclusion the rebel alliance are cunts...let me explain

1. Alliance is too close to United

2. A dome headed meglomaniac wants perfection and will settle for nothing less with his team

3. Empire is ruled by a mega powerful individual that just wants to rule the footballing galaxy

Up the Empire

Have you ever considered a right good drink?

I'm feeling a seperation, call me an old sentimental fool, a idealist even. But, renember it's only a film and your use of the context to imagine a Utd empire is gone. No more.

The futures bright and the best colour of blue there is.

Rejoice in that you lucky jammy bastard. :)

Live long and use the force.

As a genuinely massive star wars fan I have to say this is the most disappointing crock of shite ever.

Wank in terms of character development, rubbish action sequences, pointless storylines and shit attempt at humour dialogue.

If that's a masterpiece then I'm very worried about the other trash that Johnson will release with his new trilogy.

Watched for the second time tonight and I'm now of the opinion it is a disappointment.
As others have said too long and decisions on certain characters don't sit well with me tbh, I came out of the force awakens and instantly liked it. This one I didn't get the same feeling with first time round and the second watch doesn't really make it any better

What are they going to do about Leia? I thought she'd be killed off in this film but what about the next? I didn't notice a note or anything in the end credits.
"In loving memory of our princess" ?

Just returned with the family (wife, 13 yr old boy and 11 yr old girl) and we all 4 enjoyed it. I was surprised I liked it as much as I did. Does take some odd diversions and I agree I'd like to have seen a bit more character development, though not sure I'm one to go by as I like the new characters (Rey, Kylo, Poe, Finn) more than most. It was too long but time went by pretty quick. Were several bits that kept you guessing which I liked. Nothing will ever be as good as the original and there've been a couple of true clunkers in the franchise but this one was entertaining IMO. Better than the last one; not near as good as the Rogue One prequel though I think. 6.5/10 sounds right, maybe 7.

I will accept the acting in both was shit. I just thought it was extra shit this time.

I have never seen any of the films at the cinema. I have never regretted that as they are always too fucking predictable.

I prefer Sci fi that involves gratuitous nudity. Maybe that's where SW is missing a trick.

As my son would say, "TMI." :)

Here are my biggest problems with the film:

1. Leia floating through space, this concept alone was just ridiculous.
2. Snoke is apparently powerful enough to create a connection between Rey and Kylo but had no idea Kylo was about to kill him?
3. Where did snoke come from?
4. The Finn and Rose story was an irrelevance that didn't need to happen.
5. No information on Rey- her lineage was as irrelevant as her storyline
6. The film lasted two and a half hours and not one storyline has been developed

I disagree re 1 and 5. IMO, you're spot on with the rest.

Must admit, I was disappointed. It's better than TPM and AOTC but on a level with ROTS. Much preferred R1 and TFA out of the new films.

Saying that, ANH and R1 are my favourites.
