My girlfriend can't watch it without uncontrollable blubbing and I have to admit I well up a bit at the end.

As brilliant as Coogan is in that I think Bernard Hill steals the show.

Without a doubt Bernard Hill steals it, but the casting was superb throughout.

One of Coogan's finest hours yet very few people have seen it.

I may or may not have shed a tear watching it.

The scene at the end of the second episode when Bing finely breaks down sticks in my head as the best I've ever seen from Coogan.

One of my lads current workmates is a former member of Black Lace. Not just any former member, but one of the ones that replaced of the ones who'd already replaced one of the originals.

Peter Kaye was pencilled in for the lead on Sunshine. However his Diva-like behaviour and wanting to virtually re-write everything saw the role fall to Coogan.
