Thanks for filling Wembley....you're banned!

The chasm between the club and the fan's grows wider and wider with each passing season. Going to a game is no longer enjoyable it is becoming a chore, something we do out of some brainwashed sense of loyalty that has been ingrained in us over the years. It is no longer a stress relief from everyday life it now just adds to that stress.

We are monitored, pushed, prodded, searched, treated like a suspect criminal by some wet behind the ears moron in a high visibility jacket, this is before we even get into the ground. If we lose our rag we are threatened with being banned. Inside the ground isn't much better and hanging over our head are a whole raft of rules and regulations half of which you are not aware of until you fall foul of one. In spite of a far superior transport infrastructure, on paper, than we have ever had getting home appears more problematic than it ever was.

On the field of play the obvious bias of the officials is becoming even more blatant and bold with each passing game. I never celebrate a " Goal" spontaniously now until I have double checked if the cheat in black has allowed it. Penalty calls not given and allowing our opponents to kick our star men out of the game with impunity before booking almost every challenge by a player in blue. All this without a whimper from the club so the bias grows more and more bold, like a badly behaved child left unchecked they run amok and destroy our hopes and dreams in the process. Like a bullied victim we grow exhausted by it all until we just want out and for us that out is just walking away from the whole sorry mess that is modern football and the club I once loved but I now hardly recognise anymore.

That mate sums up how I feel. Add to this the ever increasing costs , the crap atmosphere , the ridiculous ko times, the hostile and biased media coverage and the obscene salaries players are paid means I'm giving up on football after this season.

Strange as it seems I much preferred Kevin Keegan's promotion season!!!

Could this be a plan to unsettle whores? They may think twice before buying and selling on if there is a risk of a ban.

I've touched on this before. Whores desperate for the points sell to anyone who gets in touch. People They don t know or even met , and usually with no post history. They could be touts, rags and of course club officials checking up. Beware of who you sell "spares" to.
This story could be totally unrelated but it's a thought.

Bloody bang on . Hope our club read this.

Supposing you passed onto a friend your ST for one game, someone you trusted. He decides at half time he want a fag and gets caught. He will then be searched and if they found your ST on him then you are the one who will suffer the consequences of any ban not your mate.

Who can search him. Stewards cannot can they?

The police might be for what reason really. If caught smoking simply get escorted out. Go to the nearest pub and watch the rest of the game. No need to be searched or give your name. Do not make a scene.

I doubt they will Bill and more worryingly I fear they don't care. The old fan base is an embarrassment to them, with our outdated bolshie attitudes, the very same attitude that saw us through all the dark days and ensured there was a club still viable enough for them to buy. Modern football doesn't want us anymore, we question things, fight back when we are pushed and don't spend enough money on merchandise. Bizarrely on the other hand they then bemoan the lack of atmosphere as week by week they kill it a little bit more. I don't know where a lot of us go from here, I feel we are at a real crossroads as a support base.

Posted this on twitter. James Robson has just sent a message asking for details.

The MEN is interested. Maybe the op contacts them. Give the story. It might get the club a bashing but reading this thread it might be about time fans had a say.

I too think there is more to this. There's not a chance City would ban any season ticket holder for buying 2 extra tickets as that's something the club themselves allowed, and if it was solely down to that then surely every fan that took that option up would be banned as well.

Not having a pop at the OP as he himself doesn't appear to know the full story but is it not possible that the 2 tickets were sold on again and somehow someone has found out? If so, then I think everyone is missing the point with that letter about selling to a 3rd party and "contravening the terms and conditions of sale". I could be off beam here but IMO City aren't referring to their conditions of sale - those are Wembley's terms and conditions of sale (presumably set out by the FA) and everyone who bought a ticket through the club should've received a load of blurb from Wembley alluding to this and if Wembley/the FA somehow find out that tickets have been sold on then that will result in action being taken.

I sure no extra points were given for buying extra tickets. I bought 2 extra for a bloke and daughter in my local. He had not been for a while so she treated him to the match.

I would have thought that was the point of this but city. Try and reconnect.

My view is city should not suspend the ticket but contact the holder by phone to discuss. Maybe then contact the people who used the tickets. All very easy.
