Obviously would require very different tactics to what are used by most premiership teams but I think it could work. Assuming no Spanish players can be picked:

I think Valencia is hard working enough defensively to do a job there and the Spanish national team often use players like Silva and Iniesta as wingers who like to come central so defensively would really just be looking out for Alba.
If the system wasn't working well then with a single sub it reverts back to the standard 4-4-2
