Given this guy's military expertise, the fact that's he 's on the run from the authorities and his alleged sympathy with various conspiracy theories I wonder how long it will be before he becomes an internet hero to other nutters cheering him on as a kind of Wild West outlaw.

And given his links to far right militias, I wonder if he’s hiding out with some of them.

As soon as I ever hear news of this sort of thing, I immediately think, ‘I bet he’s a conspiracy nut’.

That’s what all those conspiracy theories breed at the extreme end.

People think it’s harmless or even a good thing and a bit edgy to say ‘don’t believe what they tell you, always question everything’. But in being so paranoid and untrusting, those who’ve got a few wires touching have always got the capability to lose the plot completely as they’re just drowning in lies and don’t live in reality.
