They run classic steam trains and also have a thomas the tank engine for the kids.

Get yourselves to Burrs Country Park (the steam trains run through this area and provide superb views of these classic trains for free)

If you can spare an hour or so travel you can head down my way in shropshire, we have the Severn valley railway a great day out for the kids.
