Trevor Francis....thank you.!!!

Yep. American bollocks. I have no fucking idea why anyone would go into it, or have any interest in it. Utter shite. As bad as stuff like Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - just shite for cunts.
exactly.

No, any ex player should state their opinions honestly and not sugarcoat things for the little crybabies on here.

Trev's not a City fan, he didn't have a particularly stellar time here so why the fuck should he pander to over sensitive supporters of any club

Danny Mills is a **** but he's a slightly different case in the sense that by disingenuously playing on his tenuous City connections he has established himself as 5live's default City pundit despite the fact that he wasn't here very long and wasn't very popular and is more associated with Leeds. Trev's just a roaming general football pundit.
very well explained mate.

Prior to Anelka signing, other than Dennis Tueart, the only striker of genuine quality that I ever saw play for City.

A signing that came completely out of the blue; an imperious debut in front of legions of blues in the sunshine; an injury hampered season; occasional moments of utter genius; a reckless sending off; fall outs over unpaid wages; a season ending with inevitable disappointment - followed by a surreptitious disposal to Sampdoria after the season ticket deadline had passed.

Has such a fleeting playing career ever so effectively encapsulated the pre-Mansour mercurial nature of this football club?
a wonderful post.

Fuck the 'sentimental' bollocks. Nice for us fans at the time - but inevitably created friction because a) we didn't really have the funds and b) we didn't have the players capable of building a team to utilise him c) we got him on the wane of his career. Ultimately an expensive sick note - 1.2 million for 12 goals was fucking expensive in those days. Approx £383,000.00 per goal in todays money.
