3) If UEFA cite or want to review our sponsorship deals given this new so-called evidence, then they will 100% have to open an investigation into PSG otherwise the bent nature of UEFA will be 100% transparent even to a half-wit. OH hang on, CAS ruled UEFA would not be allowed to re-open the previously settled PSG case. Why would it be any different for us?

4) Although CAS say each case is treated individually they upheld appeals by Galatasary & PSG saying their cases could not be re-opened. How are we different?

This is a long & sustained attack on the Club from all quarters now from some media with agenda & UEFA (G14). Time to get tough. If UEFA cite us and CAS for some reason uphold it then we need to contest the legality of FFP, win or lose, I don't care.

The most rediculous part of all of this is PSG seem to be in the clear now & they have a man on the inside at UEFA!!!

In any case the media, UEFA & the alleged ring leaders (FSG) of the PL backlash are making clear & sustained attempts to damage the club's reputation & finances, by at the very least trytng to make us less attractive to sponsors.

Well, as far as i know, PSG has not yet got the ruling of their appeal to the CAS.
PSG is not on the clear since they have been in not stopping investigation from the 2017 summer window to now. UEFA investigation is just on hold till CAS ruling. Be sure that even if the ruling is in favor of PSG, they'll still open an investigation for the next 3 year period which coincide with Mbappé and Neymar acquisitions.

The likely difference between PSG/Galatasaray cases and City is UEFA tried to change their own "sanctions" without new element in the former cases.
In regards of City case, this is UEFA stance :
https://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/uefa-announce-man-city-ffp-investigation
City were fined £49 million ($92m) for breaching FFP regulations in 2014, while UEFA warned in November that any investigation could be re-opened should new information from the time of that sanction come to light.

The problem with UEFA is they can do pretty much what they want but, thankfully and hopefully, CAS reign them in a bit.

Also, PSG president got his seat thanks to an election by clubs president (ECA). Unless he managed to bribe the whole european clubs, i don't see the ruckus with that nomination. UEFA just processed the choice made by the ECA. I mean, if PSG had bribed UEFA as people believe, they didn't get their money worth. They are under investigation and they are not even in the referee favors.

Lyon of course forgetting that their recent string of Ligue 1 titles was heavily bankrolled by their owner.
The guy is the best french club president (maybe ever), but he is also a very big hypocrit. When he was dominating the Ligue 1, he was saying french football is getting dragged down by "socialist" mentalities and that we needed an "elitist" mentality. The best and richest clubs should be helped and praised and not chastised. Now that he can't compete financially with PSG new money, he cries everyday that it is unjust, unnatural money etc. He has really no shame. Even this year, he would praise us for lending him our "gardener", which is the best in France (former Aston Villa guy if i remember), when his grass was terrible. Two days later, he was going on with rants against us.

If they've got all of our emails then there is no way there will NOT be anything incriminating. Companies seek to get around laws/rules, etc, all of the time. Every day.

Legitimate businesses exploit loopholes and preventing them doing that usually requires changes to legislation etc but does not lead to retrospective punishment. Whether evidence exists that City have broken existing regulations is still unclear and they may not have done. UEFA of course cannot be relied upon not to try and bend the interpretation of their own rules.

All this talk about a super league involving the G14, will not happen in the near future. The 1st reason is that both UEFA and FIFA. will have to sanction it. They will not want to upset the smaller clubs off UEFA, who will rely on a draw with one of the big clubs from the so called G!4. The 3rd reason is that either one or both of them can issue a ban of these players who play for these clubs to be allowed to play in any internationals, whether they are a friendly or a full international.

So these G14 clubs can have their G14 club championship. However if the players are banned from ever playing International football the players will not be joining them or will want to leave them to continue playing International football.

UEFA will be thinking long and hard about implementing a ban, knowing that we will be taking them to court, If they should decide to ban us. Which having used evidence that has been hacked, I don't think the courts would look at this evidence very favourably, which they have used knowing it to be stolen. This would open them up to a vey hefty fine for using this evidence. Then their will also be our court costs. So UEFA could end up having to pay a awful amount of money running well into the £10's thousands pounds.

The first thing I would do is to sue them in the British courts, then after that I would do the same in the Swiss courts. Finally I would find out in which country the hacker lived and then I would sue them in that country as well.

If that then bankrupts UEFA so be it.

This proposed super league just won't happen imo, and if it did, it'd die on it's arse within a couple of seasons.

Yes they'll be plenty of sponsorship money floating about, but the fans of these clubs can't handle finishing second or third in their current leagues, how they going to cope finishing half way down or lower? All interest will be lost by match going rag and dipper fans for example, won't be good for TV games in front of half empty stadiums.

And talking about possible loopholes in emails does not imply actually using them.

I was going to post the same
It all sounds so romantic playing Real Madrid one week, Bayern Munich the next then Barcelona
Then when it happens and you're getting spanked 2 & 3 nil in all those games the reality is it's not the promised land

But with in-house VAR I think we'd see half the league in contention with a couple of weeks of the season to go.

I do agree with you but feel this sort of footie will end up as entertainment WWE style.

Plus what happens to domestic cup competitions?

They still going to be allowed in those? Not going to be much fun for supporters if their only going for one trophy a year.

Is the super league to replace European competition or domestic?

Never going to happen, imo.

@prestwich blue - I'm pretty sure all image rights payments where brought in house when the Inland Revenue ruled such schemes as tax avoidance in 2014.

EDIT: the inland Revenue officially voiced their concerns in 2014 and ruled overseas schemes as tax avoidance back then. In 2017 UK based schemes were ruled as tax avoidance and there are currently 227 football related tax probes underway.

Indetails :
City Revenues = 500 milliom pounds
232 M from Commerical Income - 212 M From Broadcast - 57 M from Match Day
DnR3-egW0AAqLu1.jpg

It is no doubt about the money from Broadcast or Match day so that is 212 + 57 = 269 M
The commerical Income is the One has questions about ....
500 - 269 = 231 - the commerical -
So , Let us analyze The Commerical One
- 39 M From player sales : 231-39 = 192 M
DnR4BigXoAAt0g7.jpg

Now 192 M
There are 45 M for Ettihad Sponsorship + 10 M for Nexen Sleeves + 20 M for Naming + Academy = 75 M
So 192-75 = 117 M
- 10 M from Amazon , 117-10 = 107 M
- 20 M from Nike , 107-20 = 87 M
- City Global + Regional Partners are : " Aabar, Arabtec, Astra, Betsafe, Digicel, EA SPORTS, Etihad, Etisalat, First Gulf Bank, Hays, Healthpoint, Heineken, Jiwasraya, LG, Nexen, Nike, Nissan, Pak Lighting, PZ Cussons, QNET, SAP, SHB Bank, Soccerworld, Star Beer, TCA Abu Dhabi, Tecate, Tempobet, UBTECH, Veqta, Vitality, Wega, Wix, Whaley Technology, Wolf Blass ، CITI ، KHMIR BEVERAGES ، EATON ، POWER HORSE .. "
In 2014 Uefa said Etisalat deal worths 6،7 M so let us say in 2019 would became 8 M , also said AAbar deal worths 6،1 M = let us say in 2019 = 7 M
So 15 M from Etisalat + AAbar . 87-15 = 72 M
72 M with more than 37 Remaining partner = 1،9 M for Every partner .
It is very fair prices , Where is The Inflation ???????
