anybody had this before, I was on my laptop on youtube, when a police popup comes up saying pay a 100 pound fine, Completely locked my computer.

I got it when I was watching First Row sports a few weeks ago. There is a demo on youtube on how to locate the programme and erase it. (Mine was on the works laptop and I proper shit it when it said I had been looking at inappropriate material like child porn - how was I going to explain that at work!!!)
ive had the same thing to, do a quick google search on it and there is loads of info on how to get rid of the virus. Certain types of it do use your webcam to take a pic of you, that can then be used for all kind of fraudulent shit

Yep, had this a few weeks back. It asked for $300.00 Cdn. AVG eventually fucked it off. I was on pirate bay at the time.

I had it when i was browsing for a film for me and the wife to watch.
She was watching me look for the film when it popped up.
Her eyebrows raised and she looked at me when the words you have been watching etc...
