It's almost laughable.

Don't take Bolt seriously on his "love" for the rags. Here's what he said about Real Madrid...

Three gold medals and three world records were Usain Bolt's impressive feats in the Beijing Olympics. In an interview to Marca, the Jamaican runner said he is a fan of Raúl and Ruud van Nistelrooy and that he dreams about training with Real Madrid.

Usain Bolt and Michael Phelps were the great heroes of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The American swimmer said his idol is Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal, whom he met in the Chinese capital, and the Jamaican sprinter is a great football fan whose favourite club is Real Madrid.

In the interview, Bolt says that, during a stay in London, he grabbed his bycicle for training. He returned three hours later not having used the bike at all because he had joined some kids in a park for a game of football. "I admire Van Nistelrooy and Raúl and I prefer Real Madrid to any other team," says Bolt, "I wish they'd let me train with them one day. I'm serious."

Bolt had an impressive run in the Olympics. He broke the 100 meters world record with 9.69 seconds. He set a new world record in the 200 meters, his favourite race, with 19.30 seconds. The icing on the cake for Usain was to win the gold medal in the 4x100 meters by setting yet another world record.

Usain Bolt joins the ranks of illustrious Madridistas, which include tennis players Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, cyclists Carlos Sastre and Alberto Contador, and rower David Cal.

Call me a cynic, but it is obvious he is using both clubs to further his own career, meet other celebrities, and important figures in sport, and boost his own image. The whole playing in the Premier League for the rags, is nothing but a publicity stunt. I hope it happens though, because it will mean Ferguson has succumbed to the ravages of dementia in a pretty severe way.

Didn't the scum once have a basketball team?

Maybe that's what he (Usain Bolt) was referring to - he would be perfect for those quick bursts down the court and big enough not to need to jump when he gets to the other end!
