Usain Bolt to the Rags

Dennis Rommedahl can run 10.4 seconds/100m but he was hardly the greatest in the world.

Fan Zihiyi could run faster but failed all across the park until he moved the centre back, Spurs almost bought him but he went to Palace instead, hardly stood out.

You need more to your game than just pace, although it comes in handy. Without pace Walcott and Lennon would be championship players at best.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if it happens. Think of the positives, while it'd be unbearable due to the media jizz-fest, they'd be getting somebody on par with Luke Chadwick who they'd treat like the new Ronaldo while the Glazers pocket the shirt sale income, in turn pissing off the Scummers even more.

The club haven't got anything to do with this. Usain Bolt is a Utd fan and has said, a couple of times, he'd like to play for Utd when he quits athletics. That's it - he's not been offered a trial, let alone a contract, no need to get self righteous about it.
