What is the best hotel near Hazel Grove?

Thanks Mate.

I had a look at Bredbury Hall, but was put off by some of the reviews on TripAdvisor, some snippets below:

This by far the worst hotel/Restaurant I have come across in my life. It appears to be a gloryfied Brothel.... and full of tarts cladly dressed clearly on the game.

Awful place. Full of thieves. Two people in my party were seriously assaulted

Obviously a Den of Iniquity

I WANT TO GO!!!!

What you mean is that you were put off going there for the wedding as the wife will be with you, but you have noted it for a weekend after the match (obviously not the bit about thieves)

where is the wedding? it would be a lot easier to be able to walk to your hotel. As long as you are not too fussy there are quite a few in Hazel Grove. For one night does it really mater if it is a shithole?

This is about a 10 minute walk from HGGC. You could leave your car at the GC and its cheap as chips. No point getting somewhere good if you will be half-cooked.

Mottram Hall Golf Club <a class="postlink" href="http://www.devere-hotels.co.uk/hotel-lodges/locations/mottram-hall.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.devere-hotels.co.uk/hotel-lo ... -hall.html</a>

Shrigley Hall Golf Club <a class="postlink" href="http://www.pumahotels.co.uk/hotels/northern-england/barcelo-shrigley-hall-hotel-cheshire" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.pumahotels.co.uk/hotels/nort ... l-cheshire</a>

Shrigley Hall & Mottram Hall as said but are quite expensive.

There is a Travel Lodge in Adlington on the way to Macclesfield. Not really anything in Poynton itself.
