Do you know what I don't get about all this.. Why does main stream media inadvertently aid ISIS with their xenophobic undertones.
The daily mail reads scarily like German newspapers during the 30/40s. We all know how that turned out.
Some of the comments I've been reading really scare me.
Saw a front page of the sun the other day that read; 'One in five Muslims sympathise with IS'
It could just as easily have been; 'Four out of five Muslims don't sympathise with IS' but that wouldn't suit their agenda too well.
That was sinister as they twisted facts.Saw a front page of the sun the other day that read; 'One in five Muslims sympathise with IS'
It could just as easily have been; 'Four out of five Muslims don't sympathise with IS' but that wouldn't suit their agenda too well.
It was actually 1 in 5 muslims picked some sympathy, sympathy or don't know out of the four options available to them when asked "Do you have any sympathy for those who have left the UK to fight in Syria" Which means they could have been expressing sympathy for those fighting with the Kurds or complete and utter indifference just as easily as sympathy for IS. They also neglected to mention that when non-muslim Brits were asked the same question the results were similar.
What's that saying about lies and statistics..?
The scary thing is this paper sits on a table in the pub all day and the headline is all that is noticed, and believed.
