Added to cynically running down his contract for the last two years, earning £12m a year for seven years and becoming a free agent this summer, Yaya can afford to turn down China because someone will still pay him a fortune to stay in England.

Somebody would have to offer us an awful lot for us to let him go and he would have to agree, thereby missing out on his signing bonus.
I can only see the Chinese being able to afford him in January and I don't see them making an offer.
