I think we're at the point of no return when it comes to folk claiming anything and everything having some sort of racist connotations attached.

Making jokes based on someones race is pretty obviously racism. It doesn't mean it's as serious as every other potential act of racism or that it's a particular big deal, life isn't that simple, everything isn't just black or white. Should he be labelled a racist, punished or bundled in with people like Ron Atkinson? Of course not. Should he make race based jokes when commentating on football? Probably not. Should anyone really give a shit? Probably not.Still not racism though.
