Silva and Sterling excellent, Sane frustrating at times (not taking his man on enough for me) and brilliant at others. Kolarov solid again, Ferny the ultimate utility man and Willy made a couple of decent saves. All-round professional performance.

Just about somes it up. Merlin is fantastic and I hope he's here for a few more years yet. Would have given him MOM but Sterling was class.

Big raps to the defence aswell. As pointed out by someone else in the match day thread Sanga is very underrated. Kola looked very composed I thought today.

Not had enough of that type of performance this season, looks like things are really starting to come together. Fair to say we weren't breathtaking, but no silly mistakes and just doing everything well and professionally. When you have that solid platform, add in a bit of magic from the front 5 and you're almost guaranteed a win against most of the teams.
