Wasn't great today but he was the only one who I thought I might do something. I don't envy any striker that has to play in front of Delph, Fernando, Navas and Nolito.

That Delph 1st touch was what nightmares are made of. He was dropping back to midfield to help with buildup and picked out some good passes to teammates that should've been capitalized on. He had some good plays with holding up the ball and chasing the opponent down to win back possession. This game needed a playmaker in the midfield to go with 2 of the Dugtrio.

i think not having any creativity or pace behind him most of the game didn't help.

It was frustrating for Sergio and for us, reminded me of the League Cup derby with Nacho stuck up front and getting no service. I did think Serg worked hard though, couldn't fault him for effort, he must have felt like twatting Navas.
