Sunderland v City post match

I have heard that MOTD never showed Silvas disallowed goal...is this true? If it is true then it's a disgrace. If it was a foul by Sterling, fair enough, great decision, but if it was for an offside, terrible decision... Either way, should be shown and discussed
I'm no conspiracy theorist, and from what I've been told the goal was rightly chalked off because Sterling was interfering with play (I didn't notice him when watching it live), but that is pretty pathetic from the BBC not to show it at all. They surely have to class a disallowed goal as a key highlight of the game, even if it's just to show how momentum started to lean towards us.

Thing that really gets on my wick is the fact we have no option but to pay the beeb a licence fee for fake and biased news. Wish we had the choice of paying.

This is a very good point.
When will we ever score from a corner.
This has been mentioned for the last 5 years.

John Stones v Huddersfield (4th goal).

And 2 v Monaco.

We were fairly dominant at the back for the majority of the game yet they won at least 3 headers from corners yesterday, shows how dominant Otamendi actually is in the air.

Stones scored against Monaco from a corner,Sergio got our 4th against Huddersfield.
Not that it really matters.

The MOTD highlights made it look like Sunderland dominated the first half and the second half was 50/50... piss take!!

Raheem played himself into the game and had a good second half, but by god he was gash for the first fifteen or twenty minutes or so. By my count he either gave away every ball he received or was bundled over by the Sunderland defenders. Anyway, let's let that go, everyone else was good, including especially Clichy (!) and Kolarov in defence. Kev still looks slightly off his game to me, but maybe because he's playing deeper and taking on more duties in a defensive capacity. He didn't play for long enough to be judged, really.
That save from Pickford against Sergio towards the end was nothing short of brilliant. It was curving away from him right into the corner. That lad needs a close eye on him.
I had a good laugh at the end. Anybody notice that Pep went onto the pitch and started a rant with Merlin analysing every aspect of his performance for the previous ninety minutes, and Dave just decided he'd had enough, and made a gesture that said, "ok boss, tell me all about on on Monday morning at the training ground, I just want to get into that fucking bath right now!"

Agree with Pep that we forgot to attack, but we seemed to be in such control and we simply went through the motions.

If West Ham can get something against Chelsea then I'm convinced it's on. We've got to keep winning and smartly rotate the squad.

Think I agree here. Chelsea need to drop points tonite to give us a glimmer.

That was a pleasure to watch. Ok we didn't score a bag full of goals but the level of control was fantastic and some of the passing sublime. Silva was just brilliant. Think I heard a stat that he had run more than anyone else on the pitch. Nice to see him do the post match interview in English as well. The last couple of months something seems to have clicked with them. Even Gael has played really well since he came back and the whole team now seem to be executing Peps game plan and methods. Goal and after match celebrations indicate a strong team spirit as well. This is what I hoped it would be like this season - long may it continue.

Pep's little grouse. Sounds good on the face of it, but can't say I really agree with Pep. I like the fact that we seem to be finally learning to manage games out. If only we'd done that against Middlesbrough, Everton and Spurs…

Funny how people watch the same thing through different eyes. I thought Sterling was as good as Sane today, just that Oviedo is obviously a better full back than the lad on the other side, so Leroy seemed to have more joy. That being said, another assist to his name, keep em coming lad.
I thought Sterling was poor until his assist. After that he looked a different player

I am beginning to think we may just be witnessing the birth of the best attacking line up in world football for years to come.
Sane/Sterling/Jesus
Average age 21!
There is no other team I can think of that can match that potential.
Rags must be s******g themselves as relying on geriatrics to keep them afloat....
