I hear what you say about resting players and agree in principle but personally I would have thought resting the likes of Silva and Sterling at the weekend would have made more sense looking forward to the Monaco game as they would have got a full week rest.I'm not sure we did create that many chances. Their keeper barely made a save of note. We had some nearly situations in the 2nd half. It was one of those games where if you get one, suddenly the football flows and you get another.
Can't keep playing Silva and Sterling every game. Their game will dip if we do that. Sane looked poor tonight. So did KDB. In hindisght I wish we had played Nolito, Iheanacho and then brought on Aguero and SIlva 2nd half. Now we've barely rested anyone and have another game Saturday before Monaco.
