If you watch the lad play you will see how good he is. Plus €10m is not what he will go for if the papers say hes worth that then add at least another 10 or 15m to it.
He apparently has a €10m release clause next summer.

Is he even that good? €10m isn't that much in the current market, but I feel as if he's got a ridiculous hype without really doing anything.

I see the papers in Germany are calling this as a 2 person contest between us and Dortmund and he's got a £10m release clause.
If we get this kid for £10m it will be a Kompany/Zabaleta level bargain.
Considering the hype around him, indeed.
Is he a Gundogan/ Silva/ De Bruyne type player or someone who can play holding midfield?
He's a holding midfielder
Cheers mate.
A position we currently need with Yaya coming to the end of his career.
Would be criminal to let him go, specially at that price. Only reason I could think of is if Pep really trusts that Garcia could make it from next season.According to latest rumours collected through TMW sources of ours, Borussia Dortmund achieved an agreement with German Under-21 international playmaking midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud (21). The player, also tracked by AC Milan, Juventus, and Liverpool, will leave Borussia Monchengladbach on a 14 million euros fee, and will be signed by Die Schwartzgelben on a 4-year deal.

Weigl would be exceptional but would require a hefty fee.Or, alternatively, Pep wants Weigl.

I think they want him to go alongside Weigl and make their midfield two, a long term Gundogan replacement.Of course, but he'd be worth it.
I just can't see Dahoud going to Dortmund to sit on the bench. Dortmund, as a selling club, would only get him in to replace a Weigl or Dembele and I think they'd rather keep the latter if they can.
