Out of interest do you have the graph of the UK deficit over the same period ?We focus on you 'being scroungers' because it's true.

I asked him that the last time he dug this out his arse.Out of interest do you have the graph of the UK deficit over the same period ?
Just for you.Out of interest do you have the graph of the UK deficit over the same period ?
Out of my arse, you madman, it's data from your own Scottish Government’s statisticians.I asked him that the last time he dug this out his arse.
Hard to compare %age to Bn but apart from 98 -01 very similar shapes so who did the UK scrounge off ?Just for you.

I know i'm English but I don't have to do everything for you; try doing a search on google and along the lines of 'who lends money to the UK'Hard to compare %age to Bn but apart from 98 -01 very similar shapes so who did the UK scrounge off ?
You may find this easier to compare as it's in Scotlands GDP and not BnHard to compare %age to Bn but apart from 98 -01 very similar shapes so who did the UK scrounge off ?
Very well said, pal.I'm just saddened by the divisions in the UK because they are so easy for no-mark politicians to achieve. Looking back at our recent armed struggles, when the chips were down, Scots were always right in there next to us and, even if it's an imperfect test of character, it's an important one in my view.

Stupid stats eh.Aye, but you need to put it in context of the whole uk situation.
Unless you have been wrapped up in a bag on top of your wardrobe, then you may have noticed the last ten years for everybody hasn't been too great.
We have a bigger economy that most small nations doing ok. And none of them have oil. But, because we like mars bar suppers a drink and the odd punch up we wouldn't manage it?
Have a word way yersel man.
So as we can see Scotland scrounged 2 - 5 % more than the UK scrounged off somebody. You may find this easier to compare as it's in Scotlands GDP and not Bn

It's all manipulated to make the Scottish figures look worse than they are, it's a CONSPIRACY!!....
Maybe not, but their reliability is bit dubious. The two economies are so interlinked, difficult to extricate the exact figures.
That would be the GERS that the snp were quoting in 2013/14...suddenly not accurate because they dont like the recent figures.
Fuck the anti english bastards.
This is Scotland where opinions matter more than inconvenient facts.
Yes, it's the best that's available, it doesn't mean it's right though and most of it is not their data, it's collected by the Office for National Statistics, HMRC amongst others. That would be the GERS that the snp were quoting in 2013/14...suddenly not accurate because they dont like the recent figures.

Yeah i didn't read the white paper (mainly because i couldn't vote at the time anyway), it's like the UK stating what they want from Brexit in that white paper, doesn't really matter because we won't get what's in it. But I suppose you have to produce one for people and if the GERS is what you have it's what you use. It is flawed though. The last Independence White paper cites the GERS figures on 15 occasions and used them as the basis for the economic case for independence.
2013 john swinney quoted gers figures and described them as "independent figures". Angus robertson and peter wishart also quoted gers in a positive light in 2012-2014. Cant have it both ways and decent people now see through the snp, only the braveheart types are in denial....sorry,indynial. Its clear there would have to be huge cuts in an indy scotland. Did someone mention austerity?Yes, it's the best that's available, it doesn't mean it's right though and most of it is not their data, it's collected by the Office for National Statistics, HMRC amongst others.
It's also pretty irrelevant for an independent Scotland because things will change so much.
