As Monaco lost a cup final 1-4 to PSG yesterday, I'm hoping City's fortune is reversed. A win would be massive especially after that Chelsea result. The draw at Liverpool even looks more frustrating. Nonetheless, if they can pull off wins against Arsenal, Chelsea and United, nothing is impossible. Time will tell.

Quite right there. Even the Monaco game could've still been won. I think City are more reliant on Aguero at the moment than ever. Sterling looks for the pass most times than the shot. Silva as well. KDB not really on form but still pulling out assists when needed close to the end of a game. Sané does well, however, decision making in the final third needs to be improved. Will become better with time. Nonetheless, too many chances are missed. Outplay Chelsea for large parts of the game loss. Spurs, a draw. Liverpool, draw. Too many matches to count. Doesn't help that officials influence the games as well. Reports in the media also make it seem like the team doesn't play well and only focus on the denfensive frailties. Hopefully, they can pull out wins till the end of the season. Whether, grinding out results or dominating. Would like City to be like the toirtise in the race and grab the trophy from behind. It's not entirely impossible as any and everything happens in football.
 
If and its a big if we win today & again against chelsea things would become really interesting, fingers crossed
 
Blind Pugh Mariner has a big problem today. If he allows City to win then we pull further away from his beloved Rags but Arse fall further back. Arse win and they push Rags into 6th perhaps never to regain 5th. So looking like a draw.
 
In Wroclaw with 6 mates, all reds, had great full day of football in the best sports bar I've ever been in yesterday, all private booths eating steak burgers and Nachos all day
Then got to watch them bitch and moan about the shit they are having to watch now, it was very sweet :)

Going back today to watch us so let's just hope I enjoy today even more

I've only seen City win at Arsenal twice in my living memory once was in the cup. Today would be an ideal time to make it 3.
 
Believe the semi final in a couple weeks is the more important game but still 2 massive games this week and hope we can return to the form we had before the 2nd monaco game.

10.30am train down to the smoke. Cannot wait. Like others I am looking at the 2 goal lead thrown away with Spurs and the Chelsea home game we should have won. If we beat Chelsea on Wed we could have been level with them or a lot closer. I actually thought a draw was fair in the Liverpool match. I remember saying several times in that match at one nil down I will take the draw. Come on the Blues.
 
We need to rip into them from the get go,their confidence is low and it's up to us to shake it to it's very foundations,if we take our chances and fucking bury them for a change i can see us coming away with all 3 points,COME ON CITY !

i too am always extremely optimistic about our chances,
mildly tempered after reading the doom-mongers in the pre-match thread, haha.
 
This game could be decided on how Arsenal decide to play. If they insist on playing from the back,
then it will enable us to high press, like at the Etihad. If they decide to knock long balls to
Sanchez/Walcott, then we have to be ready for this. Will Wenger change just to try and get a result ???
 
Usually in these big games it's the team with most to play for that wins out

They are out of the top four race if they get beat , I think they will be fired up to get a win

Can only see us getting a draw at best

Don't think Wenger will change it. They'll play right into our hands. Very disappointed if we don't win.

They were supposed to be fired up against West Brom but lost 3-1. They have many tough games left. Don't see them making top 4 win or lose today.
