Neil Swarbrick has been appointed as referee for Southampton vs. Manchester City on Saturday.
Well, at least he's just utterly shite rather than blatantly biased. Any idea who's reffing for the rags the rags v Chelsea game?

I have the feeling this will be a draw and add to the already frustrating season. Funny how we're in the same position as last year, fightiing the same fourth place battle we did then against Utd.
if we were in the same position last season, then why should it change significantly?

Sane and Jesus are radical improvements but one clicked half through the season whilst the other one was available for about 3 weeks. Set those two against temporary damage to the keeper and old age damage to full backs and Toure and you can see why we're in a similar position.

We're 7 points better off at the moment. I think we've done OK given the defensive problems. Losing Hart and Kompany and not being able to replace them has massively undermined us. Stones shows signs of quality but he needs an old head alongside him to bring him through

Bobby Madley

Blind pew Marriner 4th official.
Just saw that, Alty Taylor on the Arse game, no 3 points for them. Clattenburg is back, he's reffing the Everton game.

Attwell doing Stoke V Hull will be the dodgy as fuck one to watch.

Back on topic.

Well sneak a 2-1.

Think we'll win 3-1 -Stones will become a top class defender, just needs experience which is obviously what Kompany brings to the team and leadership. I think we have played well this season and have been unlucky, still not sure how we have lost twice to Chelsea. Delph in the middle has given us some legs which we needed as Yaya is starting to show wear and tear and even though his passing is exceptional he can't get around the pitch anymore. Not been to the new St Mary's ground....any recommendations on away pubs?

Pretty simple mate,

He is fully aware he ain't getting a new contract and no longer has the heart for it. It does make you wonder what his intentions were when he was putting in 100%. In all likelihood he was playing for the contract, but surely he should still be running his arse off even though it is clear he wont still be here

Navas has been garbage for years, and is leaving; but I appreciate the effort he is putting in despite it being so obvious he wont be here next year
You may well be right, I just presumed professional ethics would apply. If I were getting 250 a week I would run like, e the clappers

Stoke are on the beach already, Hull will win that regardless of what Atwell does, he and Clattenburg have been taken out of the firing line for me, Burnley being as shocking on the road as they are.

3-2 just not sure which way it'll go
More likely score is 2-1. They have a very Meh home record 15th in table I think. They don't score or concede many at home.
Like us they are a better side away from home this season. We slipped up down there this time last year Kolo had a howler I seem to remember.
However, it was in the middle of European competition and that has to be taken into consideration. We will be well rested and should be ready
to go at it full tilt and at a minimum I would expect a share of the spoils but would hope for a narrow victory.

I wouldn't take a draw now,i think we should be able to get the win, hard game though without a doubt

This is a must win game still not far enough points wise in front of the rags. So we have a chance to pull further away from tem this weekend especially as they have to play Chelsea this Sunday. Pep has got to play is strongest team against the saints, and go for 3 points. With a bit of luck that may give us the advantage when we play them in a few weeks.

Has anybody got any idea who the ref is for this game. My guess is it won't matter because he will try his best to make sure that we don't win, so that the rags can get that 4th spot instead of us.

I think you're right. Reckon we'll line up like this:

Bravo
Zabaleta
Kompany
Stones
Clichy
Delph
Fernandinho
Silva
Sterling
Sane
Aguero
Yep i can see this happening, the only change is i think Willy will be in goal and Bravo will get the nod next week for the Semi

I'm not that confident to be honest, It's never been a good place for us to find points when we need them

Neil Swarbrick. Not corrupt, just shite and far too old to be refereeing.
