Aguero says he is happy at the club , Pep is ecstatic that he has bought into his work ethic so why do the media on a daily basis keep on insisting he is leaving at the end of the season , wishful thinking ? The rags and dippers could not attract a player of his ability so maybe its just sheer jealousy and the fact we have one of the best prospects in the world in Jesus ready to fill his boots if he does decide to leave in a couple of years. F*ck the media and their agenda.

The media probably get it from the dozens and dozens of pages on here saying he's done tbf.

Worked his bollocks off for his goal today. Have a look at his movement just prior to todays finish. A master of his craft.

Kun and Pep looked happy after the game to me.

We'd be mad to let him go, he's a proven goal scorer, the best in the league.

No player can be expected to play up front for 60+ games a season, we need at least two top strikers, which we have in Kun and hopefully Jesus.

If we let Aguero go it would cost us around £80m to get someone who would score the same number of goals a season, and even then there's no guarantee a new player would settle straight away. Would be absolutely fucking stupid to lose him and whoever we could realistically sign instead we'd be a worse side for it.

Would be utterly pointless selling him now he looks like he is bought into Pep's methods.

You are talking nearly 100m to replace him directly and that's in a summer when we have by far more important positions that need and probably will have significant sums spent on them.

The more I look at the possible clubs that he would interest the more I doubt a move would ever occur anyway.

For a start we won't sell to another English team, Barca have the MSN, and I also doubt Bayern Munich or Juventus would spend around the £70m we would demand for him.

Bayern have Lewandowski and Juve have Higuain as their number 9's anyway.

This leaves Paris or Madrid for me.

At Paris they have a top striker already in Cavani (scored 42 in 41 games this season), even if they signed Aguero I doubt he would be guaranteed to play every week so why leave City?

At Madrid I think they will favour the Aubemeyang route for a more accomplished striker and Dybala if they are looking for an up and coming talent.

I reckon even Kane would be Madrid's radar over Aguero due to his age and possible link-up with Bale.

Huh? I msdevthis very argument last week and @Pablo1 was on my emotionless case like white on rice. :-)

He ran his socks off again yesterday and did his bit defensively. That side of his game has improved remarkably this season and you could tell when he went off that Pep was pleased with his performance.

Got his goal as he always does because on that front he is an absolute machine but his one downfall and it was in evidence again yesterday despite his part in the Sane goal was his passing or more importantly, his ability to get his head up and spot a pass.

Twice Kevin had a shot at goal from a great position if Kun can only get his head up and make the pass.

All in all though a very good performance.

Fair summing up.

A mixed bag from him but in the end I award him good marks for scoring in five league games in a row - the only player to do so in the league so far this season - and for effort.

He does seem to have lost that explosive little burst of pace and his passing and hold-up play are too hit and miss.

I think it would be a great shame if he left before breaking the all-time goal scoring record for the club but it feels like he may not get the chance.

He has without a doubt lost that yard of pace.

It doesnt go down well on here for obvious reasons that i can entirely understand but this summer is the right time to cash in and move the squad forwards.

He has been and is a magnificent player.
