It's Quiet - a new dawn

I was sitting in a park yesterday and saw a kid fall over a ball. He had a better season than Bravo.

Haha. Jokes aside, there's a top keeper in Bravo somewhere. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if next season he hits the ground running and by this time next season he's our established number 1. The guy has been top most of his career he hasn't suddenly become shit!

Mmmmmmmmm, now that is another point, mmmmmmmmmm, maybe my 50p will have to go eleswhere eh ?? I'll keep an eye on this for the next few months, hopefully before

Mind you I could always bob into William Hill and ask um for a price on Griezman,or Mbappe, that'll get them talking

I think he'll be rotated personally so it depends where... granted he'll still score a fair share from out wide, however, I watched an interview with Henry at the weekend, he reinforced that in a pep side he had to forget what 'being a CF' means, I think it may apply a little to Jesus... granted he's looked phenomenal in the first few games but he'd be no different from other kids who have bad patches!!

He will still bang a few in,he could get 15 in Carling Cup if rotation is the name of the game ... :)

That's if he's playing CF, just saying (:

Neymar's had I think 3 30+ goal seasons for Barca out wide, last year all of MSN got over 30, I *think* Villa managed it under Pep from the left too, and I think all 3 of Pep's front line got 30 in 08/09 too, if not very close.

In 13/14 Aguero, Negredo and Dzeko all got over 25, so it's not like the numbers are impossible in England.

I don't think it matters if he plays centrally or not, he's going to get in the area and he's going to get a lot of goals.

Aguero probably unlikely to go 2 full seasons without an injury too.

Somewhere in between. Madrid have done what they do best, by stating they would be interested to his people.

Sergio, however, still calls the decision.

I would happily have him and Sanchez, as long as Kun is cool.

Thanks! That would be the dream. Having insane goal options between Jesus, Aguero, and Sanchez.. giving a little breathing room for Sane and Sterling to go through up and down patches. Between those first three you've got to think there's somewhere between 60 and 90 goals waiting.

I'm in agreeance it'll be closer to 20m,but at the end of the day,we should get that back for Joe,so all is well on that score

Very true. TBH, i'm a sucker for an English player. I'll always get behind those transfers even if they're not that fashionable!

I think we can agree (there's a first) that it's a great deal harder to hit those numbers in England , however, he could become that player, in fact I'd bank on it but there will be a good few variables next year and I'd expect a few teething issues....

I also don't believe kun will be here, sadly, which if is the case changes the goalposts!!

Fullback options,

Grimaldo, Hernandez - LB

Gaspar, Henrichs, Semedo - RB

Those options seem good to me I think.

I wonder where Angus Gunn will go. He can't stick around if we get Pickford, no point going on loan either.

His dad said they were told to turn down championship loans so I guess he'll head there and work his way up in a year or two.

Nothing against Pickford, or Walker, but signing a player "cause he's English" is a really poor reason.

The rags are all up in trying to get Griezmann, Bernardo Silva, even Neymar. These aren't necessarily going to happen, but they're statements of intent, as was Pogshit. Mourinho has a blank cheque and world class players will still be duped, despite lack of success and CL football, to the swamp because of it.

City should be backing Pep to the hilt. We've waited and planned for years for him and he's endured one season of ridicule because he was left with players like Gael fucking Clichy who we couldn't pay another team to take.

Sanchez is, of course, a good start, but we should be looking at the best options available. Pickford is good, but he's a plug-in. Ederson is ideal and ultimately you'll get what you pay for.
