Only saw a little bit of it, but you could sense she was thrown by the 'robotic' label. The programme in her brain was searching for synonyms of 'strong and stable, but Lynton Crosby had clearly not adjusted the settings. Half expected her to come out with 'long-term economic plan' or even 'head slapping'.

Neither silly nor ignorant. They may not get paid enough for what they do, but they're not on the bread line. I'd like to meet a nurse who uses a foodbank and find out why they're using it.

My family has voted Labour since probably the 1930's, it's engrained in my family's ethos. This Labour are the party of the metropolitan middle classes. They're socialites, not socialists. I actually do like Theresa May as PM, she seems more of a doer than a procrastinator to me. We need a doer in this period of EU separation not someone who'll drag their feet. If Corbyn was more like his younger self, anti-EU federalism and wanting the UK out of the Common Market, i'd back him, but even he knows that he'd have to face the backlash of what that would mean amongst his own party members. To get back that core Labour working class support he needs to stop pandering to the socialite, new labour, middle class ethic and start recognising and addressing the concerns of the working people of the UK, no matter how 'unethical' and 'racist' it appears to the metropolitan mindset.

I lived in Gorton and Droylsden years ago and my family were always labour. I am also a brexit voter and its a concern that we have leadership during the process but its not my number 1 priority, i want public services and the nhs to be at the forefront and corbyn is the best man for that in my view.

not enthused by this election. Don't really buy into May, don't buy into Corbyn and the incessant drive "left", Lib Dems are just disagreeable, Greens are tedious, UKIP are numpties bar Farage, who else is there to vote for?

I liked Cameron, and I liked the Tory/Lib Dem coalition bringing politics to the centre, which is the sensible place for it to be. Selfish people have pulled us away.

This story is from a report last year that quoted a single mother student nurse claiming she sometimes had to use a food bank. It didn't't disclose her previous financial state.

The average Nurse salary is 23,000+ but with overtime it can be much higher. You can find a story from last year of a nurse taking home over 100k due to overtime.

The times, bbc, thelondoneconomic, scottish herald, unison, royal college of nursing all repoting that nurses are using foodbanks and taking out payday loans and grants to make ends meet but im supposed to listen to a nomark halfwit like you? £23000? Average house price in London, £480000. Mortgage available on £23000? £92000.
Cheapest one bedroom rents in London are about £1200 per month. Take home, assuming no student loan? £1453.97. After rent, £253.97 per month. What a life she must have........

I think it all rather depends on what constitutes a 'nurse'. I read a similar article, Daily Mail, but the more I investigated, the more I discovered that the nurse being described was doing a job far removed from the average nurse on the ward. Indeed, it was akin to describing the super-head of three major state schools 'a teacher'.

It stems from a study not a single case. If its bollocks as some seem to think, why didnt the pm challenge it?
