personally i dont have a problem with it. If we buy walker, then navas as back up, i think we are ok. Maffeo on loan at girona for a year in la liga, then comes back more mature sorted. Keep kolarov as back up left back too if necessary, can play 2 positions as can navas.

He is out of contract next month at it's back up right back
 
So no contract extension for Zabba, our most consistent performer since the takeover then? Ah but then he does appear to have some personality doesn't he? Can't have that in the dressing room. All players must bow down to the precious one and not in any way look to each other for inspiration at any time.

Anyone reckon Sergio will be on the way soon too?

We know yaya is going. Very possibly Komps too.

But navas gets an extra year.

I'm "so so" sick of this clown. What does he have to do before people wake up to the fact that he is no better than average in any league that has more than one other half decent team in it. The whole football world knows that city see themselves as a small little club that feels lucky to have the precious Guardiola as manager.

Our most unsuccessful manager since the takeover. He's taking us back years. And being applauded and worshipped for it.

I believe someone said that they bumped into an ex player who told them that Zabba had been offered a year extension to stay on as a backup but that Zabba thought he wasn't going to take it because he wants to play.

Seems fair enough to me.

BTW - it's clowns like you that make me sick, not our manager ;-)
 
We just need to get Clichy locked in for a few more seasons now. If him & Kolrov get extensions this place will go into meltdown!

Completely agree, Karen.

I think Kolarov is a decent central defender to play at home against mid-table teams downwards. His ball-playing has surprised me this season.

I am incredibly frustrated about this rumour. It's a state because Txiki has neglected our fullbacks for far too long.

Looking at it realisticly, it was always going to be the case that we couldn't sign 4 fullbacks in one summer with one or two having to end up getting contract extensions.
 
I'd like to see Navas stay as he's been very effective in the right back position. As a right winger no. No goals. As a right back, he's outstanding going forward and some good attacking teams have been unable to expose him defensively so I hope he stays.

The squad needs a big improvement, by keeping some experience at back ups we have the money to get some quality first choices,pep has said some will go some will stay but he can't change the whole team in one go,fifa or whatever it's called has gone to some peoples heads
He might not accept the offer,same with yaya so chill out people
