Seasoncard Renewals 2017/18

Yes they are but I`ve no idea as to other ST increases, hence my "well done City" as I for one cannot complain.
Mine and the two lads were £850 last season (with platinum). Now £920. I'll just bin the platinum.

Is this a double clarkie? Or do you genuinely think I was being serious with that post?

Fuck me. This site's sense of humour dies a little more every day

Dongqiudi deal to propel Manchester City merch sales in China
Manchester City have signed a new partnership with football-focused social networking and media app Dongqiudi.

As part of the collaboration, the club have created an account on the Dongqiudi platform for content geared towards their growing Chinese fanbase.

MCFC will use the social network for publishing news, match reports and videos.

Further, Dongqiudi will help City create an ecommerce service for selling club merchandise in China.

£15 rise for my ticket in the family stand but offset as my son who was in the 16-17 band last year paying £210 has now been put into the under 18 band which is only £130 so £80 saving there.

However that bit of good news has been spoilt by the apparent news that Navas will be offered a contract extension, what do managers actually see in him ??

The only other increase I`ve heard of is an additional £15,someone posted on here and genuinely do not know of how much other ST fans have increased. If they have shown a large increase then I don`t think City have thought it through with all the additional new money they received from the TV Companies.
Mine's £20 so £2 a month on the DD and the overall price is still within my self-imposed limit of £40 per game pro-rata but it's not the amount that's the problem but the principle. If it's really to cover an increase in match-day costs then do it across the board and stick £5, £10 and £15 on all tickets so everyone's paying something. Or stop this stupid banding within blocks where people pay more for sitting nearer the front. Or stick £30 on all tickets and abandon Platinum. But in a season where we'll be getting £45-50m extra for nothing from the PL's domestic and foreign TV deals then why piss people off for such a piddling amount that will only be noticeable in the accounts after the decimal point. Ticket income might be £53.7m instead of £53.4m.

Not renewing. Had enough of shit decisions going against us. Its got to the point where its preventing me from enjoying big games because you know what's coming.
This is far more important to me than a £10 increase in S,ticket. The corrupt officials is making me think twice about renewing & the way the club do & say nothing pisses me off, the que's & being made to feel like a criminal are ruining it for me as well. I've a decision to make .

the Sheikh's family save a fortune because we / City help to promote Abu Dhabi on a global scale.

I understand what you are saying but they pay a small fortune for naming rights and shirt sponsorship so they are paying heavily for the promotion. We are being asked to cough up less than the secret bog smokers will spend in a couple of days on dried vegetation in a paper wrap.

A small but unnecessary increase of 15 quid for me, as long as the season card pack has those sky blue shoe laces and other cheese in it then I'll renew.

I'll break it to you gently..... we're not getting one, its all online

Virtual shoe laces!! How does that work?

Well I renewed mine stayed the same £299 no brainer really when a day ticket are from 36 to £60. mine works out at £15:73 a game.

I agree that, for what's it worth in terms of extra pound notes, the increase isn't worth doing at the risk of further antagonising fans.
However, if you compare your ST price with the equivalent at Anfield, you'll be surprised how much cheaper we are.
Not taking anything away from those that can't afford it, but offering a comparison for perspective....

the biggest tv deal ever, huge sponsorship deals. there is no need at all to increase prices. the club are making more money then ever, especially from ripping off fans. the club will get what they deserve as more people will bin off cup schemes/platinum, an even worse atmosphere and even more empty seats.

I did say it shouldn't happen but it will, just like every thing else going up,

Anyone know if/when there will be an opportunity to change season card seats?
