No Tories.No referendum.No Brexit.
Simples.

So that means you fully support

Election pledge - get elected - treat electorate with contempt and ignore that pledge - simples

Now I can fully appreciate that there are a range of lies:

Lets invent a scale from 0 – 100% and place some examples on that scale:

So, Libdem’s on Tuition fees – fuck me that is right up there – 65%

May on not sorting immigration out when SoS for Home Office – forget the fact that it would have needed the ability to bring through parliament the level of controls that would not have been passed – she did not even try – so fuck her - 55%

And many others...................

Major on Maastricht......... utter contempt for the populace – 80%, but folks we have a winner.........

Bliar – what a self-serving twat!!! By the late 90’s he was in discussion with the EU leaders to be the 2nd EU president – he just needed to get us tied into the EuroZone – well at least Brown acted for the good of the nation for once.

So, for me, Bliar is the winner – 100%.

Now let’s see you fit the decision of Cameron to undertake the referendum that he had committed to in his manifesto into the same range

Your chance for objectivity.....

Anyone who is still working class and doesn't vote Corbyn is a brainwashed fool.

Yer that's right.

I have my own mind and decided Corbyn Abbott et al are useless

But I am brainwashed because even though they continually make wankers of themselves in interviews and in off the cuff policies that they announce I think my god they cannot be in charge.

Crack on though working class - must vote labour

Anybody who watched QT last night may recall the baldy geezer in the orange jumper who asked the first question then made supplementary points about how the Tories are on the march in Scotland and how Ruth Davidson is doing a sterling job and how his daughter is a well paid nurse so in his view everybody in the NHS is very well paid. In fact the only bit of info he forgot is that he is councillor Eric Holford - newly elected Tory councillor - funny that eh? Some could even think he was a plant?

i didn't mind, gave more even baance to a Scottish audience and I thought Emily Thornberry made some decent points and was ok. The 2 non-politicians (and the SNP woman a bit) were gobby and useless.

Agreed except personally I think its only fair that if you big up one of the parties with your comments you should declare your interest first..... He was the only politician in the room who spoke yet kept his political affiliation concealed. How is that fair? Were he Labour or Lib Dem it would've been all over the front pages this morning with cries of "FOUL"

I think today Corbyn has put to bed the defence and foriegn policy issue that the fail and torygraph have been peddling along with fallon.
He has clearly stated he would commit to defence spending in line with nato requirements.
That an army is primarly for defense, but once international negotiations for peaceful resolutions have failed and intervention would be necessary and would be deployed.
That trident would be renewed, but still believes no sane world leader would ever push the button knowing the devestation caused anyway (which is true hence the cold war stand off, but for some reason people think admitting this is a sign of weakness not honesty).
That the state has a duty to look after returning soldiers and veteran, especially with regards to mental health and those left with disabilites, to quote the man "Charities shouldn't have to look after this, governments should".
That the UK should not be a cheerleader for another nations foreign policy (Trump was mentioned) and determine our own policies based on our own values.
The only person saying we need to cut terrorists off at their funding and tackle those supporting ISIS as well as them.
Foriegn policy will be built on mutual understanding, co-operation & respect.

Others may dismiss this, but a year and half ago one main complaint was he was a pacifist who was gonna disband the army and shut barrow-in-furness down.

Good post, just heard his speech and agreed with every word , how people can call him a 'idiot' and 'useless' is beyond me.

It was a good speech and yes nothing in there any right thinking person should take issue with................ except shutting Barrow in Furness down... nobody would notice if that were done surely?

I'd rather United won the treble than see Theresa May win this election. She is a truly appalling human being. As are many of her supporters.

Get the impression Farron is doing his best to not get elected. Country just voted for Brexit with many being labelled as Little Englanders/Britainers or racist and his main campaigning point is to take in 50,000 Syrian refugees. Heart might be in the right place but his head isn't in reality.

One would hope so as they are responsible for this Brexit fcuk up in the first place.
Grrrr. Fucking democracy eh. Stupid voters voting for things they shouldn't.

Wouldn't the country be so much better and fairer if you were the dictator.

Shocking was it not - unlike Blair in 2004 and 2005, the Conservative party decided to honour a manifesto commitment - truly shocking.

I think that you will find it was that dreadful gaggle of people called the electorate that caused the risk and fallout from Brexit - you might agree with a Clinton term to describe these dreadful voters - '....basket of deplorables' was it?
Glad someone else is capable of reminding Len about this.
