Gutted he's going, end of era and a real changing of the guard. Will we ever see players like him and Vinnie play with so much passion for the club. I doubt it.

How can they poke fun at it like it was some cringe fest the little cretins? It was classy and genuine. He's been a warrior who gave his all and was the peoples champion... they've not even tried to understand it by the sounds of it.

I never listen to talkshite, did they slag off the Spurs soap opera over moving to a ground a few yards away?
 
Adios amigo. All the best you deserve it. I think a lot of my respect and admiration for zab boils down to him playing how I like to think I'd play for city if I was good enough. Total commitment. He plays like a fan and I can't give him a higher compliment than that.
 
Awesome send off for the man. My eyes leaked for some reason a few times during his speech.

Clubs always need people like Zabba. We can sign who we want, but superstars alone don't win things. We need the above average guys who are willing to push themselves to the limit to prove to themselves that they can cut it at the highest level.

Hungry players win things. Superstars only stay at clubs if they are winning things. It's the Zabbas of this world that make teams great.

Any young player at City (those on the pitch tonight, and those in the academy) who saw that tonight can surely only be inspired to be like Zab, because if they are, that is what you will get back, whoever we loan him too, take care of him please.

I can't remember any in my lifetime, a few players have missed out (Dunne for example). Harts last game was good but I think at the time the majority thought he might come back, Zabbas tonight was incredible.

Gutted he is going, will miss the man immensely.

Was the perfect player for us, someone we could all relate to, the place won't be the same without him :o(
