Spurs will consider selling right-back Kyle Walker (26) this summer, should an offer of around £45m arrive from City or others. [Daily Mail]

Levy asking stupid money, who would have thought.

If the deal is already done this is just another part of the spinn doctoring by Spurs

heard it's already at the FA clearance stage.

Hate to disappoint but it's north of £50m after easy hittable ad ons. Knew Levy wouldn't go easy on us!

Over £50m for Kyle Walker? Hes good player but north of £50m? If thats the case then surely the basic fee is around £35m-£40m?

Who cares?? If kaldhoon is happy to pay it then why should we care?? Walker is a huge improvement for us so that's all I care about, leave the money to the money men!

If it eats into the transfer budget for other players who are just as important then it's certainly something to be concerned about. Over £50m for Walker would be a joke regardless of the need to fill the position with top quality.

This.
I can't believe how many on here seem to worry/care how much players cost. I'm pretty sure Khaldoon knows exactly how much we're prepared to spend on each player and position, and how much is left. I don't think we'll suddenly run out of money and have to buy a keeper from League 2!

But no one knows the budget mate? Not saying it's not big money but I would imagine it's around £40m with success add ons? If nacho leaves for £20m plus then the fee is already down?

Not if we've got about £300 million or more to spend on the other positions. As I said, Khaldoon isn't going to suddenly realise we've run out, he's just a little bit more business savvy than that I suspect!

It's a fee that gives our detractors another stick to beat us with but it is still an priority signing.

I suppose part of my concern is not rating him nearly as highly as others do on here. As for the talked about budget of £300m + that I keep reading about on here (which incidentally I believe is the kind of money we should be spending to get things right after letting the squad grow old) I'll wait and see. What happens. Hopefully reports are true.

If it costs more to get our players in early and ready for a full preseason instead of last minute haggling , so be it.

with the quota in mind (minus delph/clichy/kelechi) we do need to buy British players. To fit an obvious need with a quality English player is a no brainier in my eyes. From what I asked 'how much is it?' ' North of £50' I have asked again about the add ones. They are on top! So it will be reported as higher than stones. Could be reported by spurs as 60

He is in the pfa team of the year which says a lot. I think he will be a great addition. And in his 5th season with us will turn 31. Have to remember there is so much money around these days, that's the standard rate for a top quality player
