Look, I am not arguing here, I don't vote for politicians, can't stand the bastards, however, the NHS needs some kind of reform. The initial 1948 model, great for the time, despite numerous reorganitional changes is not fit for purpose. Continually throwing money at the problem solves nothing. I will give you an example of wasted resource, GP appointments, my local medical centre had over 200 missed appointments last month, wasting time and resources.
I put it to you, if there was a refundable five pound charge, this number would be reduced dramatically, please don't insult my intelligence by saying a fiver is excessive. This is just a small example where progress can be made. My other half was a HR Manager in NHS for twent years, and he says Labour fucked things up with the GP contracts, removing weekends and the on call facility. Like I said I don't give a fuck for tories but don't anybody tell me labour are any better!

The Tories / ConDems cut the percentage of NHS spend on primary care by a third so its not just down to changes of contracts.
