Just to point it out, someone on 80k a year will pay no more than they are now, someone on more than 80K will pay an extra 5p ( from what i've seen thats the figure ) per pound over that.

Plus the extra council tax
Plus the price rises due to increased labour costs
Plus the the price rises due to the falling pound
Plus their underperforming pension
And the biggy...Plus the further tax increases when the corporation tax increases don't deliver 1/4 of the claimed revenue

While there is no doubt that people live within there means, You earn 80k, a million, 10 million, you will live within those means, so any additional hit will be a hit. And no matter where that theshold is, people will complain.

True enough. What's your point?

Well, I've done rather well out of it.

It must break your heart to think you can make a very good living, and run your own company, without torturing Tiny Tim....
