It's Quiet - a new dawn

Seems Ederson and Mendy are all but confirmed... who's next?
Walker and/or Sanchez if reports are to be believed, and I do as they're consistently reported that way. Of course, with those two it all depends on how difficult the London clubs are intent on being.

Walker and Sanchez are gona be ballache deals to get done quickly if at all.

Spurs and Arsenal will drag us through the media mud before any deal gets close. Wont be an enjoyable process for us at all signing these.

I wonder if when all the transfers are done and the squad is complete will Pep try to implement his 235 (the pyramid) tactic from his last year at Bayern?! It was amazing to watch..
Neuer - Boateng, Alaba - Rafinha, Vidal, Lahm - Coman, Costa, Muller, Robben, Lewandowski

Levy's wage structure is going to have to come tumbling down if he wants to keep Alli, Kane and Rose after this window. Walker is on 70k, wants more cash and wants the North apparently so it looks game on for us. Mbappe is a different gig. It come down to the Pep Pull.

I believe the contention is that the transfer of 16 year olds with EU passports is only permissible between clubs within the EU or if the individual concerned is living in the EU. Velez are arguing that Garre was doing neither and that his parents flew to Germany the day before their sons 16th birthday before signing for City 2 days later. FIFA took our view that this was acceptable, however others may view it as sharp practice

Whatever, if the governing body told us it was ok, then the club's beef is with them. There are no grounds where we could be banned, as we abided by the rules, it was FIFA's job to stop us if it was wrong, they are the lawmakers in football.

But FIFA being deemed in the wrong, the transfer being declared illegal & a claim for compensation would be more of a possibility, if anything, I imagine.

Sooner or later they will have to pay up or accept being a middle tier club.

I hope you're right, but haven't CAS got the ability to impose their own punishments? The fact that FIFA may have erred in their decision making process may or may not impact on who gets punished
I'm fairly certain CAS can impose binding sanctions if they think they're needed. Both City and our own dear FA are also listed with FIFA as parties involved in the appeal.

Do we know which CAS persons are actually handling the case? I went to the home page but did not recognize any names.

Walker is not on 70k , not getting involved but he is not on that ( might have been offered that in the last couple of weeks maybe )
