The Home Secretary has refused to rule out further police cuts following a Labour election pledge to put 10,000 more police officers on the beatAs usual Daisy Cutter sums it up nicely:
if Labour had taken 20,000 police off the streets and Britain been hit by 3 terror attacks in a year their position would be untenable.
In an interview on Tuesday (May 2nd) it was suggested to Amber Rudd that she had made “no promise on numbers, no promise on budget”.
“We will have to see what comes out with the manifesto,” the Conservative MP told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme.
At least they've not cut army numbers by 20,000 at the same time.....
