That's what most thought about Corbyn. Having said that, it's quite possible that Labour would have won with a different leader. Doing better better than expected is perhaps more of a reflection of how low expectations of Corbyn were.

Arithmetically the Tories could form a government by coalition with the DUP but that would be a red rag to a bull to the Republicans and could spell danger in Northern Ireland.

Hard brexit is dead now, the DUP will almost certainly make a soft brexit a condition for joining a coalition. I know that first hand.

Might as well be a Tory majority but it's a shocker for May.

They'll be a few Tories waking up with ambition this morning.

That's hypothetical, of course. I think "doing better than expected" does Corbyn a disservice though. Regardless of political affiliation, this is clearly a bit more significant than that.
