United are literally about 3 successful £50m+ forward signings before even getting close to our options in the final third.
 
Morata is a classy player but in terms of goal scoring he's not exactly pulled up trees in previous seasons. He can improve obviously and appears to turn up on the big occasion but £73 million is an awful lot. As others have said he certainly wouldn't be the main man here if we were buying him.

So you guys are telling me that Stones wasn't dropped for Kolarov in early to mid part of the season when he missed 4/6 games? I don't remember him being injuried then.

Yes, he was hurt when Nico had that great run with Vinny. I don't think Pep would have broken that up if the season was longer and Stones was fit. That's just silly to suggest.

Like I said we'll see.

Why would anyone care how much a player is bought for? I'm sure the rags fans don't. All they'll care about is the fact that they're getting a top player. Fees shouldn't matter at all to fans it's not like we pay them out of our own pockets.

I don't really care, care. I just think it's an insane amount for the bloke. Clearly it's up to them.

Just seen on sky news morata is being sold for 90 million euros wich is about 75 million quid

We will see how top he is next season! don't forget the scum are buying a 3rd choice striker for 64m.

you may be surprised to realize but the most at danger in losing there place will be Kompany he only played 15 games all season stones 41 Otamendi 43 and Kolarov 40 games rotation is key for Pep but if Kompany can not prove his fitness for the season ahead he wont be getting anywhere near the side and that pains me it really does but thats the reality.

You may not want to except it but stones is in Peps plans long term....
