It's Quiet - a new dawn

No, though they've got some good young players, I'm not sure if anyone would be a priority over our other targets. Naby Keita would be a good pick, Emil Forsberg too, but neither would be automatic inclusions.

Kolasinac wasn't anything even approaching a battle. He wouldn't be first choice LB here while Arsenal can guarantee he'll start a majority of games and are willing to pay him as such. For a rumoured £150,000 a week, they're welcome to him.

Were we ever in on Tielemans? Don't think there was much to say we were. Let him perform at Monaco and prove himself there before making a move though, makes sense for a player at his age and stage.
That's the problem we'll end spending over double what Monaco paid for him because he's too much of a risk to buy now.

Walker's gone, that much is for certain. Consensus is that City are front-runners, but I think it's likely agreed on a player-club level already. There'll be the long, drawn-out bullshit procrastination from Levy, but I think Walker looks as nailed on as Gundogan was at this stage.

Edit: Alderweireld would be a good buy, but there's zero chance of getting two from Spurs and Walker is for sure heading out the door.

If we offer Alderweireld an offer he can't refuse he may be able to push through the deal.

I can imagine Levy not signing off until August. Though I am not too worried as I think he would quickly slot in at City.

Alderweireld would be great but yea probably unlikely Spurs sell us two players. Think he's using us for a new deal, still has a few years left on his contract.

Doesn't he only have one year left? And Toby wants a release clause in his contract that levy won't agree to? We should offer a £75m double deal! Lol

Lol. We can dream!!

I think he has until 2019 with Spurs having the option to extend until 2020.
