City are ready to cut Samir Nasri's asking price to £12m after struggling to find a buyer. Marseille have shown interest, but no bid. [Sun]

Clubs are being put off by Nasri's £150,000-a-week wages, but City want to sell him rather than sanction another loan move. [Sun]

We are struggling every year to sell our deadwood. City simply pay too much for squad players.

When we gave him a new contract he was worth it,you can't undervalue players at the time in case we lose money on them later

When Nasri came to City and until last season I wouldn't have called him a squad player. I know he has no future at the club but how we could have some with him last season a manor upgrade on N avas and Nolito

Sami was asked to stay by pep but he wanted to go,his loss really

Nasri's stats don't tell a story of a player who couldn't be arsed for us. His style of play is not dynamic and so he was never going to be a pep player. Perhaps his attitude at times was rightly called into question but his playing stats show a top player who contributed to our success. And in no small way.

He could have been a Pep player if he was arsed. However turning up to pre season as a fat twat showed he had no desire to do so.

You hit the nail on the head, it is his attitude is the biggest problem. It's no good having a bad attitude when we are trying to build a team. He should be thanked for his contribution but could of been an even better player with better application.

He was one of those players that was a twat, but could play, and at the time the twats would come for the money, but we've stepped up a level since, and don't need to be buying at this level anymore

He is a good back up to David Silva and KDB.

Out: Navas, Nolito, Fernando, Delph

In: Bernardo & Nasri

There comes a point where we have sell. Nasri didn't rip up any trees at Sevilla.

I have noticed a quicker tendancy to slag players off here especially those who have contributed to our success.

Remember his goal v Chelsea. The one v Sunderland.

The lad is talented. He has made a wrong choice in going on loan but that his to make.

You're right he is when he applies himself, but he's also prone to not put it in (RVP) goal and take snide kicks at other players.

Just a shame Seville who do have some money saw this but we didn't before signing him.
